That game brings back a lot of good memories. Especially the arcade version. I think I was in 6th grade when it came out on the arcade machines and I played that fucker nonstop at the burger place nearby. I'd was eventually able to finish the game on 1 quarter, which would piss off to no end all the high school and college guys who would go there to play it and see me, on my Redline BMX bike, hauling ass to get into the restaurant before they parked and got out of their car. hehe. I am guessing the fact that most of them knew my huge cousin kept me from being forcibly taken away from the machine and stuffed into the garbage can.
I can't believe they put System Shock 2 on that last. I tried playing it a little while ago and it was one of the most amateurish looking and playing 3D games I've seen in a long time.

Really. Quake should have made a good showing. Doom should have definately been higher, in the top 10 for sure.

You're not saying that IGN's list could be... could be a fat piece of shit joke?

ss2 is 6 years old this month.
As for your opinion, suffice to say there's a large population of gamers that disagree with you.

I would say SS2 deserves to be on there, more so than some of them.
And TBH, I agree most of them should be "old school" too because if it wasn't for those old Nintendo games, we wouldn't be where we are now.
A game like Quake 3 shouldn't be on there, because it never did anything thats something else did. However, Quake 1 should of been on there (Q2 as well, but below Q1, and Q2 only because it had a massive mod database).

Also worth noting, according to the list, Goldeneye is still the best console FPS to date :icon14:
Of course, because it shouldn't be about graphics, it should be about memories. I remember everything about 007, I cant remember jack shit about Doom 3. EG.
I think the fact still remains that you can't make a top 100 games, movies or anything for that matter without everyone giving them a lot of criticism.
Yeah really, one of my favourites was finally earning the Invincibility cheat to unlock everything, Beat the Facility level on 00 Agent in a stupid time. Once i did it on mine I unlocked it on my brothers copy and his friends straight away, piece of piss.
