ah, ok I'll try that out. Thanks. edit: Ok, well now the texture doesn't show up in-game but it emits light :confused: When you say to add my shader file name to the shaderlist.txt ...do you mean for every single texture I have to add it in there? Because when I look at other peoples custom shaders ...

New with shaders..need help
So I've finally decided to do my own custom textures/shaders. I've got most of the textures done, and I need to do some really basic shader stuff..ie. lights. I made a hl2dm map for valves contest.. ( http://www.snarkpit.com/maps.php?map=1540 ) but haven't touched hl2 mapping since the end of december. If CTF ends up being good, I'll proably map for it..and I someday hope to finish a nice epic singleplayer map for it as well. But for now I'm sticking with...

Weellll......I did make a CTF map last summer which was my first map ever...and now that I look back on it, it's quite ugly...but I still think it has pretty decent gameplay. Though I'm probably just biased. A grapple mod would be pretty interesting though since both flags are within sight of eachot...

Looks nice, but except the color everything else is just like on every other D3 map. This game needs more varied textures :icon23: I agree..can't wait till someone puts out a good texture set for the community :D Though I doubt we'll see many considering how much more time consuming it is to make t...
