Re: .
For the tall columns, are you supposed to anticipate moves in advance or is it all elementary math at the core? (albeit very, very, very repetitive). somewhat but with more bars introduced the steps take more switching which makes it more complicated, i can't explain it, just when I think I have th...

Re: Tower of Hanoi Puzzle
Hmm, my wrong moves get really high the more pieces I move. I remember having to solve this puzzle for computer science back in high school. I don't recall whether or not we had to solve it in the least possible moves like this version, or if we simply had to provide any solution that worked. There...

the shot of the fridge and kitchen is absolutely horrible. Terrible lighting and framing, I don't even understand why you saved that photo, uploaded it and showed us this abomination. SORRY I guess I like it because I used to live in New York (it is a friend's house there). Living quarters tend to ...

Don't sweat the lighter, a gun nut friend of mine forgot he had a fully loaded Glock in his carry on bag, about a year ago. :icon25: He got a healthy fine, but apparently this happens with surprising regularity at the Richmond, VA airport, so once the authorities were convinced he had no terrorist i...

If you have any interest in architecture, this is fairly close to Phoenix, I enjoyed the tour:

You know this thread got me thinking. [lvlshot]http://www.tequilasplace.com/temp/leielei.jpg[/lvlshot] Since the Cat / Buttered Bread Levitation Device (C.B.B.L.D.) is held up by the paradox of cats always landing on their feet, and buttered bread always landing butter side down, we should be able t...

Yeah you aren't really going to get much if any brush or patch work detail in something that is already only 1/16th of a circle. I'll download your Q3 version so I have a better idea of your map than just looking at screens. One alternative to detailing in that situation - don't know if it is an opt...

Not sure exactly what you mean in that last post AEon - if you mean most of the textures are too detailed / busy for the look you want, maybe try some of the textures in the /mptextures directory? Many of those were made specifically to have flatter, less busy textures for MP, and also to have more ...

unless the func_groups origin ended up in the void... Most any entity, maybe all of them, can have the key noFlood set to 1 if it is out in the void. Not sure if it is even an issue with func_groups. --- If I recall DoomEdit / QuakeEdit have problems showing the grid if AA or anisotropic filtering ...

Something like this maybe? Small lights under the parapet edge, and some recesses in the wall below (same material as the wall). Recesses are always good for making a flat surface appear thicker and weightier. [lvlshot]http://www.tequilasplace.com/temp/overdose1.jpg[/lvlshot] It is nice as is though...

Not exactly sure yet what it will be aside from very, very heavy on the triangles. :) Maybe make a small SP mission out of it. Edit: Took a look around and got some nice single player ideas... thanks for the nudge, although now I'll have to seal this freaking thing, for which I may never forgive you...
