Best LAN-party Friendy Mods

It's been a while Q3W! :D I'm on the admin team for a local LAN party and have been dealt the task of doing all the Q3A servers, vanilla and otherwise. What mods are still "good" / relevant / reliable? I've already got OSP and InstaUnlagged on my list, anything else worth noting? Also, ser...

Good UK Hosting

Hello there Q3W, it's been a while. I've been hosting my own little web apps / sandbox / email on my DSL line for some years now, but I'm off travelling soon, and would like to keep all my stuff live on the net (but not pay through the nose) and I was wondering if anyone had experience of any good h...

When I was working at leeds festival a few years ago, he hired a limo to drive up from the VIP area to the back of the stage before his set. The distance was just over 100ft. Unlike everyone else famous who just walked or got a little sit-on buggy. He's a twat.

1st video is Beardyman, he kicks conciderable arse. Saw him down here in brighton, not only is he the best beatboxer I've ever seen, but he's really funny as well. Part of the set he did he was just talking and telling jokes, was brilliant.

S-video is a little advance over composite. Composite really does look shit. I found s-video just bareable. Most cards that have composite out have s-video out too.

Failing RRAS and various flavours of Linux routers, Kerio WinRoute Firewall and WinRoute Lite are worth looking at. WinRoute Lite is free (and hence doesnt have many configuration options) WinRoute firewall allows all manner of bandwidth throttling port blocking content filtering options, but comes ...

I've had that several times, i found that blasting it in the shower with one of the jets helped after a while.
Also my research found that earbuds/cotton buds made things worse.

Amazing case.. :)
Yep, I've got the P180. Very annoyed that a week after I'd built my rig the brushed black alu version came out...

But yes, an incredible case, for both keeping stuff cool and being quiet. The 120mm fans move lots of air very quietly.

You using XP home or XP pro? I seem to remember getting this message trying to get to XP home machines.
As ever, check your shares (and permissions, if you're running XP pro) on the target machine are set up right, and that that PC isn't running an over-precious firewall.

Also sometimes removing the CMOS battery wont reset it, you have to leave the battery in, and set the CMOS reset jumper (usually closest one to the battery with 3 pins) to reset the CMOS successfully.

One way you can do it is by routing his connection to the internet via your PC, and limiting him from there. Of course that means that when your PC's off he can't get on the net, but that's an option. You'd do that with a program like WinRoute Lite, and set his PC's default gateway/dns servers to po...

UKers; Hot Fuzz - a must see

Haven't been entertained like that by a film for a long time, would definetly see again.
Lots of serious Simon Pegg, but excellent and very clever comedy. Amazing action scenes that put Shaun of the Dead to shame.

The role of the law is to protect the innocent, and the way paedophillia laws are being enforced in amerika is the complete opposite when cases like this come up. If she goes on trial it will probably be a hundered times more damaging than her taking nudey photos of herself in the first place. "...
