Re: Mass Effect the Third
You're an admin shaft. Ban me if I make you so angry that you have to follow me into every thread, moaning about how much I piss you off. This kind of obsession you have for me is understandable, but isn't very healthy. Same with GFY. I realise you were made to look like a bit of an idiot in that th...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
Also *more spoilers* If the Citadel itself is the catalyst and controls all the reapers to ensure balance to "the chaos", then why the fuck did it order Sovereign to attack and destroy the Citadel in ME1? That seems a little counter-productive to their plans don't you think? Also, activati...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
Just completed it. Brilliant game to a fantastic series but holy fuck, those endings are terrible and completely rip off Deus Ex. Literally near identical.
*end game spoilers* click this link which pretty much sums it up. A little disappointing really. Expect the alternatives ending DLC soon.

Re: Mass Effect the Third
And another bug found, this time gamebreaking. Can't progress any more as it crashes the game at a certain point in Sanctuary. Looks like others are having issues with it too. Make sure you do a manual save before you start this section.

Re: How hard do you think it was...
It's an internet forum and a pretty dead one at that. I'd genuinely be worried if any one of you couldn't stop posting on it tomorrow and never return to it.
In fact, the site died a few years back anyway, if only for a few months. I can't say I struggled, personally.

Re: Looks like o'dium is out of a job..
The high street is gonna become a ghost town at this rate. Grim really. or: the high street will transform itself into a shopping experience that can't be had by ordering online, i.e. market stalls, boutiques, clothing stores, cafes just because a few outlets can work better online (game retailers,...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
FOV is tweaked in that video, but I also used the original .bin file to test it and the same thing occurs. So yeah, it's an issue with the game outside of anything I changed. I updated to the latest version on origin too.

Re: Looks like o'dium is out of a job..
GAME are shit and buying online is all I do now, but it's still pretty sad to see them go. I used to buy all my games and consoles from them in the 90s. All the indie stores have gone and now the main gaming stores are dead too. The high street is gonna become a ghost town at this rate. Grim really.

Re: Mass Effect the Third
You have to get close to Joker/EDI to speak to them and it's literally in this spot where it happens. I now just quick save before I do so, but a few cutscenes have actually dropped me in the glitch spot after it finishes. Like I say, some pro QA right there.

Re: Mass Effect the Third
Anyone else noticed the spot to the right of Joker in the Normandy than glitches the player if he stands in it? I've had to reload save data a few times now because I get stuck. Pro.

Re: Eastbound and Down Season 3 baby
Watched the first 3 episodes of season 1 and so far it seems to be lacking quite a lot of funny.
Not a patch on Trailer Park Boys, that's for damn sure.

Re: Mass Effect the Third
for example, noticed how much more limited your view area is on the citadel? I remember on ME1 you could roam around wide open areas, and your visibility was vast in comparison. they have put alot of detail on player models but through design choices, the architecture of the surroundings are very s...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
An total idiot. :smirk: Nevertheless yes, FoV is inconsequential in 3rd person. Not inconsequential, just not as much of a big deal as 1st person. Mass Effect 3 default fov is 70 and because the camera is static/centered, your eyes treat it a bit like a FPS. I was trying it last night and a 90 FOV ...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
If you ask me, all this bullshit about having different direction in storyline through the choices of your previous actions is laughable. I mean sure, there might be about 3 or 4 different possible scenarios in ME3 but I don't see how 2 prequels worth of dendritic choices are going to truly transla...
