well thats what I meant by cpma physics. and imo, your not gonna routinely hit 2000-4500 ups in a standard q3 map, maybe one of those custom defrag maps though.

I like speed caps, but not when ppl use cpma to do it. imo thats not normal physics, moving at 2000 ups.

usually q3 gives you some sort of error code in the console. look for that and post it here. if you want to generate a logfile that you can copy/paste, then run q3, open the console ("~") and type /seta logfile 1 exit q3 then restart it, and try playing your single player. when that fails,...

if your running punkbuster you can use the pb_sv_task command to output a message every so often telling ppl where to download files. I think some server side mods can do that to. you can find them in the T&T forum sticky thread.

yes, unless the server (or another player) has that custom skin, no one else will see you using it. they will see you using the default which is sarge(?). I think if you want to be able to see it, you have to choose that skin as your model, then use force skins, so all players appear to have the sam...

cpma > osp.

the "pro" physics can be turned off in cpma making it much like osp.
cpma's code is way cleaner than osp's, not to mention multiview demos and the ability to run RA maps in clanarena mode. :icon32:
