actually, it is proven that vista only needs 128... Of course, its sliggish, but its proven that thats all it uses for various windows applications & aero, if a little choppy

I bet you someone replaced the bootscreen with the one that appears. the file name should be logo.sys in windows directory. i used to love changing the bootscreens. what fun :D

Well, i got rid of nvidia driver version 169.21 (most up to date one) and put the one from my cd on again (version 158 something) And it made cod back to working standards but not quake 3, i did go around that problem by changing resolution to 800x600 (which didnt work last time) and it is now squar...

Hmm, maybe its worth uninstalling latest nvidia drivers and installing my one from disc.

I have the latest drivers, infact, when i last updated it, it made games like call of duty worse!

As you can see from this screenshot, part of the right side is cut off!! ajusting monitor size with monitor buttons doesent have the bit which is missing...

Erm, the /r_displayrefresh shows the default of 0 where it says mine is 0 aswel. So, how do i change the refresh rate in the console? which command?
