Request for Xbattle's extended server logs

Hi, Before we can finish the extended logfile analyser/parser/statistics program, we need as many serverlogs as possible. I would appreciate it if anybody who has a logfile would give me a copy. It doesn't matter if it only contain one game or many thousands. You can send your logfile to fjoggen [at...

Xbattle If you are using XBattle you can enable extended logging which create a logfile similar to Quake 3's games.log file, but with more information in it. Since we haven't finished the statistics program (we are working on it) there are currently no options to present stats like VSP . However si...

Maintenance = Downtime

I am doing some maintenance on my server, which will result in some downtime.

Hopefully it will be fixed at the end of this day (GMT+1).

I am currently studying the Mark E. Glickman's theses "Paired Comparison Models with Time- Varying Parameters", but since I also have exams (actually I had one to day) it does take some time. This theses is the mathematical background for the Glicko system which I am now modifying to fit q...

@spookmineer Do not worry your comment is much appreciated and in fact you made some very good points: How would one rate a player in CTF games... A defender is (in some maps) the one who gets the most frags and flag returns, because good mid players hurt enemy attackers enough to make them easy kil...

Thanks for the feedback, but I think you have misunderstood my request. What I was interested in was if anybody knew a some mathematical resarch about the probabilities of multiplayer games.I guess I have to ask the department of statistic in my university, but since they mostly are old professors I...

SVN and CVS isn't something you can just install on your webserver like a forum or a content manager. You must first check if your host have it installed on their system. If you have shell access to your host you can type: svn --version cvs --version Or man cvs man svn If not send them an email and ...

I will with out doubt recommend SVN (subversion), mostly because it supports binary files (pictures, etc..) and also because I use it not only for programing, but also to keep track of my configuration files and similar important files on my computer. If you are looking for a easy and good tutorial/...

What about the administrators?

I can not answer the two first questions since I haven't played the game, I just host a server. However it is quite obvious to me that none or at least none of the persons with power who made this game have been a server administrator. I conclude with this because of the none existences of administr...

Sure you can ban, kick, restart game, set map, etc. etc, but what good is that if you cant get any response?
And how am I going to know who I want to ban kick?

The only thing I can get by using -> serverInfo, is:
  • Players
  • Ping
  • Score
Not exactly much to base an opinion on.
