the fact that chances of a long term relationship are pretty slim and most guys aren't friends with their ex's. why subject yourself to seeing this person on a daily basis?[xeno]Julios wrote:never really understood this advice+JuggerNaut+ wrote:...but never EVER date someone you work with.
also depends on the working environment
i've worked mostly in a corporate environment and it's frowned upon anyway.

indeed.raw wrote:Coporate policy frowns on fraternizing with other employees because it can affect the level of professionalism and/or work being done. You know how it is, if you're daing a co-worker and you get into a fight, you spend the whole day dealing with that drama instead of your job.

Ah laddie, the down on your cheeks is showing.[xeno]Julios wrote:never really understood this advice+JuggerNaut+ wrote:...but never EVER date someone you work with.

Methinks you've not yet imbibed in office flavored nookie. Unless you are extremely lonely or needy yourself, the risk just isn't worth it.
he works night shift at wal mart :lol:raw wrote:Coporate policy frowns on fraternizing with other employees because it can affect the level of professionalism and/or work being done. I wasn't referring to Zerofactor anyway, I was answering Julios as to why dating co-workers in a professional environment is bad. As for Zerofactor, christ bro don't date Wal*Mullet whores. You should know better, you work there. :lol:Keep It Real wrote:Well then he must be pretty stupid because I was quoting what he said about the other guy's work :lol:Hannibal wrote:I think he thought you were saying he (raw) worked at Wal-Mart.
Thanks for the reassurance sir. I can now pull the blade away from my wrists. :lol:Keep It Real wrote:you're cool :lol:raw wrote:Whoops      :lol:Keep It Real wrote: fuck off raw, that is a desperate attempt at flaming, because its true he works at walmart, retard

ppp wrote:Avoid any serious involvement with this female - that's an order!
I'll tell you something else as well, she knows exactly what you think of her right now and you my man are her supersub, her fall-back-on guy, her best-bet-at-the-moment.
Understand, this female is in survival mode and you can't blame her really. She is poor and has to take care of someone else i.e. has a bleak future and must have a really bad shoe collection (girls luuuuurve shoes).
Being in survival mode she is currently looking for the wealthiest man she can find (looks/age are unimportant to her), to turn on her womanly charms towards and nab him for herself (she will deny this).
Seems like you are all she has right now (no offence) and I promise if you were 'the one' for her, she'd be all over you like a rash and planning a wedding.
My advice, start to act 'indifferent' towards her - she will notice she is 'loosing you' and turn on a tiny bit of charm to keep you strung along because you are useful.
Now this part is important, 'use that opportunity' to jump-her-bones-till-yer-eyes-bleed just so you can do this chick and get her outta your system. After that move on, nothing to see here. If she turns down the offer of 'free large sausage' then you at least know where you stand and she was indeed seeing you as a cash dispenser.
Play the game and play it good, you're young and horny and you seem to have been caught in the spell of just one of these female personages, this is not good, bad doggy, snap out of it and look around - there are LOADS of others to play with.
Good luck
p.s. I wish I was around to tell me this when I was going through the same thing...
This sounds sorta right, I guess.
it's kind of weird that you're making her think you're her friend when you're really waiting to jump her bones. One prob I see is no matter how lousy the ex is, he's the father of her kid and if he comes back saying things will be different I want another chance, you might be out the door in a trice. This has happened to a friend of mine recently, although there wasn't a kid involved.
Another prob is that after being " friends " for a period of time when you really want to be lovers, when you finally announce yourself she may head for the hills. Happened to another friend of mine. He pretended to be friends for about 6 months before he revealed his true intentions, then the girl rejected him, and he was devastated for quite some time. He thought she was his soul mate. I kind of don't believe in being " friends" when you really want to have a relationship. If someone tries it with me, I just stay entirely away from them unless I really want to be with them.
