He didn't though, all the textures were not his, the only made for the mod was sound, and 3 models so far. Even a couple of my textures made it in there but did i get credit. Nopes.

Its the fact that even after we offered you help, even after we told you what was gonna happen, you ignored us all and did it your way because its what you wanted to do. Now, when everything we said has come true and people are having trouble running your mod due to things that could of been fixed in a day, your getting all harsh on us telling us its not your problem, that the mods aimed at hardware less than 1% of the world owns.

Your forgetting that Q2LM doesn't run slow because you ahve added advanced post processing effects, or added new features that require the power if a 7800.

It runs slow because you haven't optmized.

Now you being so advanced and everything, you should know that optimizing is needed FOR ANY CARD. You cant get lazy just because you want to say "only top spec PC's should even bother".

This mod could run FASTER than Doom 3, but doesn't, because of how under-optimized you have it. Its nothing personnel, its just simple fact.

Edit the mod myself? I have done, improved upon your things, gave you replacement files, improved frame rate, told you how to fix things, how to work things better, gave you support throug hthe whole development process, talking with you about it, even offered to do a lot of the work.

Guess what.

I was ignored. Now your pissed because you rushed it for quakecon and its over in 2 seconds because it runs like a piece of shit. Instead of helping yourself and just saying "help me optimize so it runs better than Doom 3 does (Which is more than possible) your just saying "fuck you i want it to run slow just so better computers can run it instead".

Honestly, if you really worked in the game business, why do you not know how to react with your fanbase? Are you so high strung on "what you want" that you need everything to be your way?

I used to be like that. Nobody bothered with Q2E. Take it from me, your not important, your fans are. THEY are the ones that will play it.
