Becasue this is just an update, do I need to uninstall my current drivers first before installing the new ones?

It is best to do so. I've had some strange occurances when not doing that.

I always uninstall via ATi's uninstall utility. Then restart. Stop it from installing new drivers. Run Driver Cleaner. Restart. Stop it from installing new drivers. Install from the latest .exe, with the old control panel, not CCC.

A program to clean up all the files and ect that nvidia's, ati's, ects "unistall" program doesn't clean up. Giving you a better performing card after the install. :icon14:

Do a search for "Drive Cleaner Pro" on wherever and have at it.
