I could of sworn that early in the game I saw my flashlights cast shadows from the world and other people, but now, i dont get any...? I haven't changed anything, so I'm puzzled by this...
So are they on and off "sometimes" and I just noticed this, or were they never on at all...?
If so, whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyy????????
EDIT: Yeah, just checked, before my flashlight DID cast shadows, and now it doesn't:

it doesnt for me. and im glad. it looks horrible in doom3

Your missing the point, its supposed to, otherwise this whole realistic lighting engine is pointless is its not realistic
They took it out of the xbox version for good reason, and i hope thats not the same reason its not always used here... I would like the choice.

for people who actually play the game and dont count the bumpmapped pixels its not that bad :P
