I formatted my computer yesterday, and since then my computer has blown the fuse in the plug a pretty impressive 4 times, anyone know what might be causing this? and is there any way for me to resolve this?
the only thing I did was format it, nothing else changed, but a mate of mine has been round since I made this thread and he agrees with you, must just be conincidence and that I should just get a new power supply as apparantly these are the first things to go? (I have had this computer for nearly 3 years now).

Where is the fuse you're talking about? I assume you mean a fuse in your power strip, right?
the fuse in the plug head. anyway, my mate reset all of the bios (cmos? something like that) settings and my computer's been running fine since, think I might have overclocked the machine a bit too much! will probably replace the power supply thing anyway though, don't want it blowing and taking half of my machine with it
Quite a few PSU's are sophisticated enough that when they fail or short out, they dont take anything with it. If it was me i'd replace the power lead with a new one, but it seems like your comp is stable...........for now.
