Before, I connected my Creative Inspire 5.1 Digital 5500 into my Creative Audigy Platinum 1 card at first, because I used an older motherboard.
As I've just formatted I thought I might aswell try my new motherboard's on-board soundcard, because it sounded good when I read the specs. I connected the "Front, rear, sub/center" into the appropiate places, installed the drivers, fired up winamp and was struck by how awesome this sounds compared to my old system.
BUT, the buzzing/scratching sound is _very_ annoying, and if I can't get this off, I'll install my Creative card again.

Any ideas? Tried checking about on google and the realtek site, but couldn't find anything useful. I might be searching with bad keywords though, since I'm not totally sure as to how you'd specify this problem.
EDIT: It kinda reminds me of the sound you hear when you try to find a new station on the radio. Kinda grainy.
