Multiple programs keep crashing.
I have no idea what the problem is, all sorts of my programs just crash and don't work, dosbox, trillian, pidgeon, my anti-virus software, and other programs. I'm not sure what the cause could be, but it doesn't seem like it would be the programs fault, something else has to be causing the crashes. Any advice on how to handl... (program crashed)

Did you scan for spyware/viruses/etc.
Also if you suspect Windows is on the loose and needs to be re-installed, I'd try installing ms virtual pc or vmware fist and run a new copy of windows in a virtual state and install some of your apps. It's like a clean install of windows and if windows is REALLY the culprit, tihs will guarantee it.

downloading ms virtual pc now. I ran spyware, didn't pick up anything really, what it did though was deleted, and the problem persists. I can't run anti-virus since it crashes upon startup.dzjepp wrote:Did you scan for spyware/viruses/etc.
