Hi o'dium...

Post by diego »

I am wondering and I am confused.
Both these two threads made me think:

http://quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31681

http://quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31672

I just wanted to ask two things and thought it might be a good idea to comprise them into this one thread here:

1. You said You worked in the games industry - which studio do You work at?
2. You seem to have a boundless knowledge on game engines - did You ever write such an engine by Yourselves?

I should note - reconfiguring and working with an already existing engine doesn't count; much less if You, say, merely made textures for it.

i think we're waiting for dienerdo to explain how not having the coding skills to write a game engine disqualifies you from having an opinion about a given game engine or being able to compare one with another

at the same time he'll also be explaining how, if you haven't built a car or PC from raw materials with your own hands, you're also disqualified from talking about them too

any minute now...

It's always the morons, that don't know a god damned thing, that seem to talk the biggest shit.

:olo::olo::olo:

I can't wait to hear how he defends himself.

Have you guys seen that ask.com commercial? The one where the guys are grilling talking about "the algorithm"? It's here:

not really.
o'dium seems to be dropping major hints that he is capable of something more than modding Q2, so people were asking exactly what.

Horton has a point. I'm glad the topic was moved here, maybe we'll get a reply now.

I doubt you will get a reply, well an honest reply anyway.
That would require o'dium to not be a sniveling little cunt.
