Alright, I downloaded the demo of the net, got the newest nvidia drivers, and the game runs as smooth as silk on maximum settings.

I loved the demo, and I bought the full game.

Works perfectly on Vista. Oh and I have a 16:10 widescreen (not 16:9) so no black bars on the top and bottom :D

Pretty good on mine with the new nvidia card - nearly as good as on the 360 at the same resolution. Decisions decisions....

All computer based Widescreen is 16:10 unless otherwise Said..

And the topic is still true, they Crop ( not put bars ) on the picture to make it "wide".. in the end, everything still is in the 4:3 aspect ratio.

Ahh installed, and it finally ran... until the plane crash where the sound craps out completely. Nothing. Goes from perfect, to no sound just like that. Anyways, played through for about 15 minutes, and it looks great.
Switched compatability mode to XP SP2, and now I get sound after the plane crash, except the whole game crashes when I go up the lighthouse steps. Wow. haha solid game aside from the super bugs.

What videocard do you use?

Both nvidia and ATI released bioshock compatible drivers. And if you dont have a DX10 card, make shure you run it in DX9 mode.

I love the full game, and I noticed that the demo level is a bit different from the full game at the end, near the "Neptune Enterance", and the medical bay.

I'd buy it via steam. No CD check, (possibly) no rootkit; but I've decided to go 360 anyway. Pretty cool that my laptop has almost the graphics power of a 360, tho.

I love how creative you can get in this game. I mean the only limitations you have are your imagination and the level walls.

A briliant shooter! Need a Moltow quick? Light the tip of one of the many vodka bottles lying around, with your flame bio. Found that out by acident actualy.
