Re: Super Bowl predictions
Well shit. I give it to the Giants, they clearly wanted it more. Good fucking game, at least it wasn't a blowout. What really sucks is that now all the haters will blast the Pats for losing, completely erasing the amazing undefeated season they had. Oh well.
Hey, does anybody else wonder what they do with all the hats and shit that says "New England Patriots Superbowl XLII Champions"?

Yeah, no shit. That's just the capstone in a series of dick moves he's pulled this year.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:lol, belichick fucking sore loser

I think the main reason I ahte the pats so much is belichick alone. The guy is a grade A arrogant prick IMO...most of the pats otherwise seem like good guys. Belichick reminds me of the evil sensei in the first karate kid that pat morita beats up at the beginning of Karate Kid 2.

Re: Super Bowl predictions
Yeah sure, but WHAT HAPPENS TO THE HATS?
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Lol, Seau and Brady needed to be taken down a notch. Feel sorry for Moss, though.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
They get sold to Mexicans at a huge markdown.Nightshade wrote:Yeah sure, but WHAT HAPPENS TO THE HATS?
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Lol, Terry Bradshaw done busted his voicebox.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
They usually get sent to 3rd world countries as donations I think. Friend of ours was working somewhere in Africa or South America and saw a kid wearing a Seattle Seahawks super bowl championship shirt or something like that. I remember seeing a news report about that same thing as well.Nightshade wrote:Yeah sure, but WHAT HAPPENS TO THE HATS?
Re: Super Bowl predictions
I should ask about the merchandise at work. We usually ship this kind of stuff. I'm sure people are at work tonight scrambling to find trucks to make the shipments due to the upset.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
That catch on 3rd and 5, after manning breaks that sack, was one of the best football plays I've ever seen in my life.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
yeah that play was amazing. the way he held the ball against his helmet in midair... we'll be seeing that one decades from now.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Nice interview belicheck to not give an ounce of credit to the other team's effort.
That interview reinforces every reason why I hate the guy.
I know he has to be upset in a big way, but the guy is a dickhead.

I called this days ago on IRC.
Giants FTW.
Giants FTW.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
A lot of people called the upset.
Again, I never thought it was as lopsided as everyone was predicting and I always laugh when people speak of anything being a sure-thing when dealing with professional athletes.
For good reading, check out the boston globe forums on this topic.

I am the Nostradamus of sports forecasting. The Patriots didn't have a chance against my prediction.

Re: Super Bowl predictions
also, would have been a completely different game if they had done a ~47-49 yard field goal on that long 4th earlier instead of going for it. At the time I didn't understand that call, all I could come up with was they were cocky. Came back to bite em eh.
Re: Super Bowl predictions
Yea, that 4th and 13 call was interesting.
