Re: GTA IV
what's the point of calling police backup when you're in a cop car? they just show up and sit there...?
Re: GTA IV
Hmmm... I'm at 76% Like, 100% Respect and 100% mission with Brucie, but I haven't unlocked his special...
Re: GTA IV
The heli tours? Do you have all the islands unlocked?
Re: GTA IV
Why did this game have to come out right before finals week!? Is Rockstar trying to stop me from graduating??
Re: GTA IV
Maybe your instructors will be too busy playing it as well and won't grade the finals.xer0s wrote:Why did this game have to come out right before finals week!? Is Rockstar trying to stop me from graduating??
Time does fly with this game though. One of the first in a long time I can sit and play for more than 30-45 minutes at a time without stopping because I have so much other shit to do. I still have all that other shit to do, this game just keeps me from it a little better.
Despite the greatness of the game, this weekend I managed to drive 1 hour to my grandma's to mow, edge, rake and all that shit for her yesterday, go to home depot to order windows for the basement, buy new blinds while there for the big front windows (also ended up with a bunch of other shit from there but that always happens - my depot/lowe's bill is going to be significant over the next few months), put up the blinds and then adjust them to the right height (that is a bit of a pain in the ass by yourself with these ones), mow my yard, wash, clay bar, polish, and then wax the car, spray weed killer on the yard, install a new outlet in the living room and then kill some homosexual I met online at a diner...and get in 3 hours of GTA IV. I wish the weekends were longer, but I've got 5 or 6 more weeks until the 2.5 month vacation.
Re: GTA IV
that's cool... i actually only played it for maybe an hour this weekend. I was asleep most of saturday, and then sunday i went wading for a couple hours with the cast net then washed/waxed the car and helped my friend with his truck. i'll put another coat on tomorrow.

Re: GTA IV
i have to agree at how odd it is that i can seem to find more time for this game than any other game i've played in a LONG time.
yesterday my sis and her hubby had a tres de mayo party that was off the fucking hook and then today a bunch of extended family came to visit so we had a bomb lasagna (no idea how to spell it but whatever) dinner so by all other accounts this weekend was more busy than normal....yet i still somehow managed to bust a few dealers, take some bitches on a boat ride, take michelle on a few dates, steal some cars for my buddy brucie and take my bro jacob to the airport. i have no idea how but i've managed to rack up about 15 hrs of gameplay since tuesday.
there's almost too much to do; i spent about 20 minutes playing that stupid ass cub3d game earlier

word, bring it.Transient wrote:I've seen JNS and you online playing it, but never when I was available. At some point you two, andyman, MKJ, Fury and I could get a nice series of games going. Complete mayhem in FFA mode.
cops n crooks at more than 2v2 should be a blast, too.
Re: GTA IV
i just played for almost 4hrs straight...time flies. The Packie bank robbery mission was pretty epic. It also unlocked the third island after i did it...which is odd because i haven't done hardly anything on the middle one.
Re: GTA IV
its the gta theme, its ont he soundtrack cd that came with the special editionxer0s wrote:Anyone know where I can download that music that plays while your game is loading? I want to put it on my phone...
which, btw, is not the entire soundtrack of the game. gay

Re: GTA IV
Packie bank robbery was indeed epic, but has anyone else done the helicopter mission with Jacob yet?
There's just one moment, one 3 second section of that mission that's the funniest thing I've seen in GTA IV yet; Jacob screaming like a schoolgirl as we fly under a bridge and close to the water.
This game has got to have the best characterisations I've ever seen in a game.
Reverend Ray from Call of Juarez is just as good, but he was only one character. GTA IV is chock-full of incredibly well realised people.

Re: GTA IV
He didn't scream when I did it, and I failed once. Random dialogue FTW!
Re: GTA IV
I martyrdom'd somebody in deathmatch... I was cooking a nade to throw, got shot down, and then the shooter ran over my grenade and died LOLOLOLOLOL

Re: GTA IV
i love the grenades! one of my fav things to do is to rush someone with a car, but instead of hitting them, drive by and drop a grenade. instant lolz. chopping peeps up with the helicopter blades is fun too

Re: GTA IV
I was playing freeroam awhile ago, these two guy's were tyring to kill me and I got away (was driving a bike) but they were still like a mile behind me. I got out, pulled out the sniper then headshot the driver and the passenger one two shot, had to be there but it was funny as hell. My tag is Kracus if anyone wants to play.
