Reminds me of some of the alpine roads in Europe. Where its a 2 lane road carved in to the side of a vertical cliff, with no barrier at the side. I remember being on a 2nd floor of double decker buss going to a beach in the Adriatic Sea, when you look out the window, the buss is going so close to the edge of the road that you cant actually see the road, you only see the endless trees leading to a never ending abyss. It's amazing how 2 cars can pass each other on some of those roads. Don't even start talking about some of the bridges, and never ending tunnels. I love visiting the Alps but the roads are a nightmare.

Anyone else have experience on those roads? Specially some of the cliffhangers in Greece, every so kilometres you would see a memorial on the side of the road, where a car went over. I have even seen a buss over the side, being held by some rocks, stopping it from dunking in the ocean (that really made my day). And on my last trip there, a car over the side of the road being held by the 2 back wheels stuck in the rail guard. :eek:

I always keep coming back for more.

Frenchies will often drive like complete mentalists on those roads, too.

I'd say he is... it's like cable porn, if you're not going to show it might as well fake it

even if he was, impressing us in that way wasn't the intent considering his other vids are way more dangerous. i think a first person view of that nutty fucking path was the sole intent.

@panda: yeah, why.

Cable or not, you couldn't pay me enough to get up there. I fucking hate heights when there is any chance of me falling to my death.

Same as you, I don't like heights, as soon as I am near a ledge or a drop off it's like I loose my sense of balance. Almost like I am subconsciously trying to make myself fall. I read that it has something to to with your brain relying heavily on your vision to stay balanced, instead of equally balancing the scenes.

However, whenever I am in a controlled environment that involves height I am not scared. It's strange, if I am in a small plane, or skydiving, or on a roller coaster, I am not scared of the heights. Now expose me to those same heights, without any of that, and I freeze solid.

I fucking hate heights, especially unsecure heights where a single mistake costs your life. Seeing that vid made me almost pee myself :(

I wouldn't want to be anywhere at a deadly height without safety equipment, but I feel pretty safe in a harness. It looks like his other climbs are low bouldering climbs and roped lead climbs. I don't mind doing that. That crane thing macabr3 posted I would NOT do.

This is one HARD route:
