Hello everyone My name is geX, and I'm a level designer from the Doom 3 mod called Doom3: Phobos.
You are probably thinking; What is Doom 3: Phobos all about? Isn't It dead?
Doom 3: Phobos is a 3 episode project which continues the story in Doom 3. It is set in between Doom 3 and its expansion pack, Resurrection of Evil. Doom 3: Phobos will feature more variation than the original 2004 game, and will bring back more of the traits that made the original Dooms successful. It is a very exciting project to work on, and it will most likely be the best Doom 3 mod out there when it is done.
We are looking for level designers to help us make new and finish up current maps. Episode 1 is well underway at beeing done, and episode 2 and 3 are half-way. We just need more people to make it all go faster
We are looking for guys who are good at the following:
Tech/base
Organic/hell
Outdoor(Mars and Phobos)
We just made a new update on our site and we hope you find this very interesting. If you are, come on to our forum (under "joining team future") and show us what you got and what you can. Then we will get back to you.

geX, FYI: There's a bit of a... "history" here between o'dium and some of the other members of General Discussion, it has nothing to do with you.

Yeah we did post on doom3world.org some time ago, but we stopped that. Since there is not good mappers to find there, not anyone who is free anyway.
I've watched this forum for a long time, and I've always been excited about all these good mappers that seemed to hang around on here, so we thought it would be a good idea to post it on here. Cause we don't want people who just started doing a map they thought could be fun. Cause those guys often end up failing, we want guys who can actually get through and actually produce something. And know how to do it. And I see this here

DooM 3 had archviles (or was it Resurrection of Evil). I want to see the return of arachnotrons and spider masterminds.

Yes, Doom 3 and RoE had plenty of archviles (although the Doom 2 ones were much more dangerous).
