At the end of the day
Re: At the end of the day
"close of play" in a non-game context
Re: At the end of the day
Just to echo your sentiments...
Re: At the end of the day
sorry, mazda. just how many meetings have you had that didn't involve you going to bed without supper?
Re: At the end of the day
Every morning I log into the work exchange server, I have to delete at least a couple mass emails regarding the company's often-changing credit and sales policies. Thanks to finding solid contract jobs elsewhere, I don't even care if they go under or not. In fact, I hope they do, I'm sick of industrial fliers.
PS. Working from home is fucking great.

jesus, working from home fucking sucks

Re: At the end of the day
There’s nothing good about working from home.
You can't function properly and lose touch with projects and the people around you.
I only ever work from home if I really need to; otherwise I’m in the office on the dot.
Maybe working from home is new to you and you’re just not at a level where being in the work place is that important to the business.

Re: At the end of the day
I was working in an office for 7 months, so I'm certainly not talking out of my ass. I realize what you mean, but it's a bit different in my field. Most graphic designers will tell you it's a great advantage to work from home. Take up a project, work on it, email it to your boss for comments, rinse and repeat. You also have the benefit of a stress-free environment working comfortably at your own desk with your own tools and end up with more free time not having to go through any kind of commute.
But you're right about working from home being new to me. I've been doing it for a month now and am loving it.

Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
