I'm looking at this racquet for January:

Babolat Pure Storm Tour GT 2009

And the Droid was a gift from me to me.

You know what? This is the first year in ages that I haven't gone out and spoiled myself. Although I have spent a buttload on games over the past 3 months thanks to seasonal releases.

I bought myself Halo ODST and Ghostbusters on 360...

While Ghostbusters is just as awesome as it was when I played it, ODST may as well have been a coupon for Gary Busey to break into my house and rape my face... Fucking hell, that game is BORING...

Oh and a fancy new coat, bloody posh'un too. Should be for the price.

Apart from the audio stuff I bought earlier (headphones/amp) I decided to sell my old 360 (loud) and get one of the new ones (less loud). Some nice new games with it too.

Gonna do a bit of research into new computer parts over the next week or so to build a new one in January.

Probably get a semi-decent 2.1 amp/speaker set to go with the new TV. Oh, and a lawn mower.

The wife and I've been holding off on pretty much all major purchases for about the last 2 years - especially the last year - while we pay down all the debt we had after the wedding and honeymoon (weddings are expensive when you pay for them yourself!). We will be paying off her truck next week - aside from that we had no debt except the house note.

I say had, because I finally broke down and bought a vehicle. It's been a long time coming, and I'm extremely happy with it. 2006 BMW 325i, black on black. It looks pretty much like this guy:

We also bought a new tv, blu-ray player, Xbox and entertainment center recently.

For christmas, I'm installing a new stereo in her truck since her CD player stopped working nearly a year ago. And she bought me a new table saw, because I am going to build a crib for the baby. :)

Nice R00k. That's what I'd like next when my current car (2001 Accord w/ +125k) kicks the bucket. Maybe a 2008 or so.

I love it. I've never really cared for the 3 series until the 2006 body style. Mine doesn't have the built-in bluetooth, and it's got the vinyl interior (black) instead of leather, but BMW's vinyl looks so good that I didn't mind forgoing that option (if you're set on having leather, make sure you ask the seller if the car has it, because it's almost impossible to tell the difference from pictures unless you know what you're looking for). Aside from that, it's got most of the major perks - wood grain trim, power & heated front seats, steptronic manual/automatic shifting, etc.

If you're patient and spend some time searching before you get one you can find pretty good deals on them. I found this one at a dealer through AutoTrader. It's a BMW lease vehicle. It's got 33K miles on it, has a full service history, in excellent condition, and I got it for about 3 grand less than the blue book. The car was about an hour and a half away from me so going to test drive it and pick it up wasn't too much hassle.

Nice DB. Was looking at a nice surround set-up myself, but it'd probably just annoy the neighbours below me.
