You're in Phoenix right? Are you considering a salt water pool? I know a few people with them here in Vegas. Not sure if they are morons? Curious if it was brought up during the design.

pool needs to be bigger

if the sun shines from the driveway side increase the distance from the driveway and install a shade tree beautification area
