Is that Heihachi character the special character from the PS2 version of the original? i know the XBox version had Spawn and the GameCube version had Link.

Re: Soulcalibur 2 HD Online
It was interesting to see how Namco completely killed the momentum of the Soul Calibur series.
Soul Calibur 2 had so much hype and people were so excited about it. Then Namco released Soul Calibur 3 as some stupid ps2 exclusive with custom creatable characters (completely dilutes in game characters.) And the series hasn't been the same since.

Soul Calibur 3: Arcade Edition (arcade only) was good.
I don't think the custom character creation did the series much harm, I think the redesign of the characters was weak and not making it an arcade game meant it suffered from consoleitis*.
*where the great gameplay you get in a game designed for arcade is lost as it's made slow and easy for the console crowd.

Just thinking, well remembering just how old that company is. I did a little reading up
SourceNakamura Manufacturing was reorganized in 1958 and later underwent a name change to Nakamura Amusement Machine Manufacturing Company, which would be used to form the acronym "NAMCO."
