Titanfall
Re: Titanfall
Looks cool.
Don't really like how the mech can apparently be taken out with just 2 missiles, though.
I understand the "hot potato" idea, where once you enter a mech you become the main focus of destructive attention, but they should be made a bit more sturdy.

Re: Titanfall
Yeah. What's the point in calling down a mech if you're just going to draw everyone's attention and then get killed in a few shots? It reminds me of playing Battlefield 1942 and running halfway across the map to grab a tank, only to get bombed by some asshole in a plane camping the spawn point.Plan B wrote:Looks cool.

Re: Titanfall
Maybe there were others shooting at the mech as well? They could be more sturdy than the trailer makes them appears.

Re: Titanfall
I guess BF and CoD will ultimately be nothing more than just like another "sports" franchise wherein you buy the same game over and over but, as usual, they keep somehow convincing enough rubes it's worth buying again at full price so they can keep making a profit.Psyche911 wrote:Except they're recycling a bunch of maps too.
Seriously...I wouldn't be so offended by this charade if they only charged a "sequel fee" of about $10 and I'd renew every year. No prob. Hell, I'd even pay full price if they released every 2 or 3 years but put out a REALLY good game after working on it for a time. But charging me full price for "mostly recycled" every few months is an insult to say the least and waters down the brand.
Fuck marketing/profit whores.

Of course an unemployed person wouldn't understand the concept of value when wifey is paying the bills.

Only a poor person would complain about spending money on video games...

Re: Titanfall
It's fun, faaaast...especially the ctf.
The matchmaking sucks balls though..unless you have a party of friends. If you play solo be prepared to get matched against another party while your team is made up of solo rejects dropping and joining the entire round because of the lopsided ass pounding. They need to only match parties with other parties and/or swaps around players after a round. This type of shit is inexcusable for a $60 AAA title.

Meanwhile PlayStation 4 is crushing xbone in sales...
Re: Titanfall
Irrelevant. Completely different multiplayer systems and player counts. Also BF4 servers have team balance and shuffles by squads. It's obvious you haven't played either game.Eraser wrote:Battlefield 4 says "what?shaft wrote:This type of shit is inexcusable for a $60 AAA title."

Re: Titanfall
Lol u think xbone is good? My kids and their friends got bored with it after a week and went back to their PC's or 360's...until I got ps4..they're still using it after months...
Re: Titanfall
I don't, I'm just saying sale numbers don't mean anything.
Re: Titanfall
Sometimes they actually do... Dipshit...
Re: Titanfall
Unless the game only available on one of the two platforms. Then it doesn't affect anything.
moron alert.
moron alert.
Re: Titanfall
Cept ps4 doesn't have that annoying talking camera bullshit that ruins all the fun...
Re: Titanfall
Please correct me if I'm wrong, haven't really closely followed the new consoles, but what I *do* keep hearing is that xboxone renders quite a few games at 720p where ps4 renders them at 1080p?
Re: Titanfall
Comment makes more sense if you mean when xbone does 1080?
Re: Titanfall
Xbone renders at 900 I think, but at 60fps. Ps4 does 1080 at 30
