eh... you stopped working to become a house-husband. Not exactly retiring?

Also what's with the pipes and pumps/filters visible behind the pool - cover that shit up!

You didn't retire. And now you're in the backyard doing manual labour because you're too poor to hire Mexicans. :olo:

Geoff, I'm coming down that way in a few weeks. Do you mind if I stop by and take a dip in the pool?

This might be one of my favorite threads ever.

:olo: @ seremtan for the kids drowning prediction. Also you know everything is a joke when Whiskey7 jumps on the flame train

Looks good, Geoff. At least you can be your own pool boy since you'll never amount to anything worth while.

Retaining walls built... Yard raised and leveled. Berm flower bed shaped out with loam... just ordered topsoil and limestone chop for bed borders... Received three quotes so far for deck going behind hot tub. 3 more companies coming out this week... framing for structure around equipment here just waiting on bamboo to arrive...

It's all coming together.... Kids showing me down though...

Don't you have enough offspring to run your own version of the 'hunger games'? Let the strong ones work for the respect they deserve. Survival of the fittest, etc, etc.

That's a lot of effort to go to just to get us to stop calling it an above ground pool.

Paradigm shifted and mind blown.
Pool isn't above ground, ground is below pool :!:

Three girls in the pool picture... Pretty sure there were some sons around a few years ago. Missing children? Must have lost count.
