Xbox one thread
Re: Xbox one thread
But actually, yes, we do have a choice. We have the choice not to buy into this "next-gen" fraud and buy a PC instead.
Re: Xbox one thread
oh good news guys. we only had to wait a year.
http://majornelson.com/2014/03/18/xbox- ... september/
then again, by then it will be about 68% less in beta than it is now.

Re: Xbox one thread
At this point I wish I'd have held on to my 360 because of the LOL anti pirate crap on the PS3 when streaming and not being able to stream FROM MY £430 XBONE. LOL.

Lol insignificant poor countries...

Re: Xbox one thread
There will absolutely be no kinect-free bundle, it is a fundemental part of the X1 experience. Microsoft will not have any plans to remove the Kinect from the experience whatsoever!.
Wait..

So. X1 is now the same price as PS4 now.
In other news, MS finally removes the Gold paywall for subscription based services like Netflix.

Re: Xbox one thread
I'm a little pissed off with my XB1. Games are fine but the front end is a pain to use and there's no apps! No Redbull TV or Sky and no sign of streaming...
Re: Xbox one thread
And still the xb1 renders games at 2/3rds the resolution of PS4 (which still doesn't do native 1080p
)

Re: Xbox one thread
But with stable fps.
On that note, MS is talking with devs about freeing up the processor power needed for the kinect, now that it is no longer mandatory.

Re: Xbox one thread
Yeah they realised devs were not using it, people were not they into it and Sony stole the sales lead.
Nice way to back track...

Re: Xbox one thread
It's 2014. Any gaming platform that can't do 1080p at a stable 60fps just shouldn't be worth anyone's time.MKJ wrote:But with stable fps.

Having to have gold membership to watch 4OD is stupid. Hopefully this makes that free too.

http://www.vg247.com/2014/05/12/watch-d ... -redacted/Yesterday, A PlayStation website claimed that the PS4 was the only way to enjoy Watch Dogs at 1080p with a frame rate of 60FPS.
Sony has now quietly rolled back the relevant text from its website, as spotted and screengrabbed by GameInformer.
An earlier rumour suggested the action game will run at 30FPS on all systems, although the Xbox One version will be lower res than the PS4.
lol consoles
Re: Xbox one thread
I much prefer PC gaming to console gaming, but despite the above article they're still a hell of a lot cheaper than trying to keep a PC updated which will play all the latest games
.

Re: Xbox one thread
I could afford a couple of Geforce Titan's in SLI if I wanted, that wasn't my point
.
