No I mean the 100k below ground pool built by a contractor in 4-5 months, then i spent 15-25k for improvements around it after...

I haven't seen seen the below ground pool yet, can you post a picture? I've seen your other pool, the one that's above ground that you built on an incredibly tight budget that couldn't even stretch to matching fencing. :!:

The amount of children you have can be correlated to IQ. It's called "deficit fertility", and it relates to highly intelligent people and low birthrate. Geoff's wife has 6 children (although they aren't all Geoff's), so she's in the lower side of the intelligence/birthrate curve. She's probably too stupid to know what a prenup is.

I'm fine, Geoff, if I was seething with anger, there'd be three threads with your name on the front page.

What am I mad at? A 60-something stay at home dad? Yeah, I'll think about that on Monday when I'm sitting in a spa in the Swiss Alps being paid two grand a day

I think your spa is broken, they're supposed to make you younger. You look like you've got radiation poisoning :olo:

Geoff, posting this from Munich. Off to the Swiss Alps tomorrow, see you in 9 days when I'm 20 grand richer

If you ask nicely, I'll buy you some new fabric walls for your shanty town garage room.

Is being 500-600 miles from home considered a far distance for euros? I mean really, people shit all over Geoff for traveling 1,200 miles to Vegas. Now were bragging about the equivalent of domestic travel in Europe?

It's the destination, not the distance travelled.

No doubt, but bragging about something that has essentially been a day trip from where you lived your entire life just really doesn't seem worth bragging about at all.

Well, we got hit by a tornado yesterday (no damage to the house). If you look on the right side of the photo down in the creek, you can see the trees that were destroyed.

I also stumbled upon this guy while surveying the damage...

It's true. If I lived in Europe, I'd be in a different country every weekend...
