Each time I try to download a .mpg file from somewhere (take
andyman's thread for example, it automatically adds ".mp3" to the end of the filename, which means I have to rename the files or else the computer thinks they're music files. I don't understand why Firefox is doing this. Removing my Download Manager Tweak extention doesn't help. Here's a screenie of the default suggested filename each time I try to download a .mpg file:
BTW, it doesn't try to rename other video formats or anything else, just .mpgs.
What the hell is it doing that for?
