I meant that it doesn't change the fact that they got 300hp from an engine that was 1.8L originally. Yeah, but the displacement enlargement is what makes it much less impressive, not to mention, as I pointed out earlier, DynaPack numbers aren't realistic. DynaPack dyno is connected to the hubs, wit...

At least the 1.8T's have plenty of mods available to them to make them a bit faster. The older 2.8's are just dogs. Apples to oranges. The B5 platform had a 1.8T as well, the B5 2.8 is as much a dog as the B6 3.0 and B7 3.2... And it's really a matter of no tuner bothering with the A4 V6's except f...

If it didn’t matter much, they wouldn’t bother enlarging displacement in the first place, it matters... MUCH.

Btw, that Civic is 2.0L not 1.8, and the dyno was a DynaPack, which generates happy numbers, in the 10~15% range higher than a more sophisticated (read; realistic) dyno like DynoJet.

300 crank hp from a 1.8liter engine is not physically possible without forced induction or a shot of nitrous.

you have to be careful because most video cards don't support the somewhat odd LCD-TV resolutions - i.e. 1366 x 768 so you may run into problems or need to buy a new video card. Dead wrong, it's called PowerStrip, it can match any display's native resolution and timings, and use pretty much any mod...

Plasma is better for movies, LCD is generally sharper and can feature higher resolution, so if you plan to use it as a computer monitor, it might be a better choice. As far as image quality goes, Plasma is superior. But realize these characteristics vary model to model in both categories. Low end pl...

unfortuante that by the time a civic can beat a viper it costs the same ammount, and has 1/10th of the reliability, economy, and driveability it was designed to have. Right on the reliability and drivability, but still much cheaper than an SRT-10 and still much more economical. I went from 25mpg to...

You can get a Canon Digital Rebel XT for a few hundred more, and you'll use it for a very long time. You'd have to spend a shitload to match FZ5's optically stabilized 36-432mm f/3.3 maximum aperture lens, in function that is, I'm not talking about quality. Some people prefer convenience over maxim...

The 2005FPW is not available in Canada yet. Dell/LG LCDs are pretty damn good, I personally own the 20" 2001FP and couldn't be happier, we also have the cheaper 19" E193FP, which I bought for my dad, and IMO, it's a killer deal at 450 CAD, certainly better then anything I could find locall...

Going from composite to svideo is a considerable improvement, especially in sharpness, but we're still talking about 480i. Only the component connection allows 480p and 1080i to work... The difference between 480i and 480p is quite dramatic, but the difference between 480p and 1080i is rather neglig...

Beemers have two wheels, not four. It's not a rule, just slang that dates back to BMW's early days in motorcycle racing, just like their main competitor's (BSA) bikes were named Beesers... BMW's on four wheels are Bimmers.
