Just ran Prime 95 for 5hours and no errors.... Ran the ATI tool at the same time for 5hours and no artifacts. Its stable and I'm loving my ole Northwood.

Just overclocked my 2.8ghz northwood to 3.2 ghz using clockgen.... Quake4 runs so much better now, my x850 pro finally has room to breathe. Without clockgen i would have been out of luck with my bios being so crappy.

Great job... It looks good, I plan on trying it out soon. I would also love to see more of a 'traditional' indoor style map from you as well. Q3DM7 should be remade... the map that was in the was the q3 test. I LOVE THAT MAP.

You may be right... but just compare the two.

The geometry in the Quake 4 mp levels is almost laughable... the performance is unacceptable. The sp game runs fine... no way the mp game should chug so bad. I am not the only one that thinks this.

Eraser... I suggest you compare the two. COD 2 is drying many more polygons/effects/dynamic lights etc. No way the Quake 4 performance should be that bad.

I love Quake 4... the only disapointment is the performance of the multiplayer. I just got Call of Duty 2 and with dx9 settings on with everything at max except shadows (same setting as i use in quake4)... the multiplayer in call of duty 2 doesn't drop below 45 fps. The maps are alot more impressive...

Looks great... maybe id/raven will include 5 of the best usermade maps in a patch in the next couple of months when the map making gets rolling.

They handled as to be expected... this would be a mp mod. I would like to increase the movement speed alittle for a more intense style of gameplay.

I would like for it to be a full blown mod....

Different Menu screen, new maps, acouple news skins to choose from, and tweak mech speeds, etc.

This wouldn't be for another crowd... it would be for gamers who enjoyed the mech portions in Quake4 and wanted intense multiplayer action battling against foe's in 1vs1 play. :icon28:
