No its doesn't go "unnoticed", we're fully aware of many of these bugs. Its just we know we don't have a chance of id software fixing them, and many other bugs take priority.

Not sure what you mean by that, but DCTF player count atm is exactly 0, but Q4 has less than 100 players too atm.

r_swapinterval "0" to disble vertical sync.

r_forceambient 1 is too bright, use 0.5, anything over 0 is same fps boost.

Also using OpenAL can be a fps killer if you aint got an X-fi card. Even if you have an X-fi card, it can still take alot of fps.. With 32 buffers, 6% cpu utilization 64, 11% 70, 12% 72, 24% 75, 48% 80, 63% 100 buffers uses 93% of my cpu. Possibly to much calculating for the x-fi-chip when you have ...

Its a decent setup for Q4. You will get low 20's if your playing with >8 players on small map or gametypes like deadzone where every player converges on a specific area. Are you using much AA / AF ? I would'nt reccommend going above 4x on both. Can be a fps killer. Also "r_forceambient" 0....
