I change my setup constantly though. My mouse is a Logitech MX518 with the Logitech Set Point drivers, standard DPI/hz/etc. Also, that's with Quake Live though as I've switched to that from Quake 3.

Yeah I was able to do it in a single jump but I failed at it more times than I succeeded. I make the jump almost all the time when doing it the "normal" way, it's a pretty easy jump though.

As already stated, download the OSP and CPMA mods to find good players, there aren't many good or even decent players in unmodded Q3 these days. It's the CPMA mod (version 1.46), but the gameplay is the same as in Baseq3 and OSP. CPMA with VQ3 gameplay has basically replaced OSP for competition since 2006 due to the CPL using it in their last Q3 tournament. So you have to install the mod to watch the demos, sorry
