A q3 mmo? that's such a good idea, but out of intrest, how do you get that many players on the q3 engine? Its a good idea. I don't know if you are already familiar with a programing language, but if your're making a game, i can strongly recommend you learn a programming language.

A noclip might work, but the ramp will look crap! ive never seen this before on any premade maps, I just took q3dm17 for a spin and its fine with bots. But, id could have put a sample of a map with water in with radient. but, Carmack knows best.

When i first got q3 i only played bots coz i was scared i would be a noob. But then, i got into online play. I admit i mostly play bots on the medium difficaulty because half the time the in-game server broswer dose'nt work.

A word of advice, do not get Q3f (Quake 3 Fortress) its made by valve, and it is similar in many ways to Team Fortress, but its unplayable! I just copied in exactly what obsidian said (about the last post, i say: ^misantropia^, but i mean obsidian) and it still said the same. I also changed the map part to testfacility.bsp (my map). If it helps, my maps ARE in baseq3, not my own base directory.
