Re: nasa put men on the moon? lol i doubt it...

Seriously play Orbiter, and download the Apollo addon. But first practise in the DeltaGlider until you learn orbital mechanics, because the DeltaGlider is easier for beginners to learn orbital mechanics on because it has lots of fuel and thrust power. Then play the Apollo addons, because on Apollo t...

Re: ey, my aparment was broke into last night

I had one of my places lived in, when I was on vacation for about half a month, I came back and there where crumbs on the desk, and one of the books where used as a serving dish, however the TV and stuff was there. Extremely fucked up feeling to discover something like that happened. I it's hard to ...

That's nothing, is you use a really high quality Infra Red filter on your camera, on a bright and sunny day, you can see trough peoples clothes as if they where transparent.

Re: Pictures of uncontacted tribesmen

The biggest problem with first contact is that approximately 50% of the tribes people die within a year. This is because they are not immune to our common viruses, even the common cold can kill them. There is only one true uncontaminated tribe that is known of. Because we have tribes that know of th...

That sounds fun, I haven't gotten in to any of the alliance stuff, or any wars, or PVP. Just trading, and concentrating on expansion, and research. Just minor pests trying to attack me, I wiped one off the map. What i hate about it is the waiting, and the further you get in to the game to more you a...

Re: Ikariam

Does this game ever reset, or is it permanently on, I have been playing for a while now, and have quite a few colonies, and never need to buy anything any more. I have tons of money, is there any way to keep it safe. Never attacked anyone yet, but have a huge defence.

Re: space nerds

Celestia is amazing for observing every star, and their known planets, including our own, in full 3D. Including other Galaxies. And the stars we know in them. Simply look at the sky click anywhere on screen, and you will click on a star, press space, and you zoom all the way to it's location passing...

Re: Do you remember the names of these movies / shows?

Does anyone remember this one: I don't remember the complete storyline, or if it was a TV show or a movie, however it involves a group of kids, some pyramid / triangular like object, a small underground bunker in the forest with a three or four fingered geoff robot thing, and some big invisible robo...

USSR did it, because of the Missile Crisis thing, and the they can't just admit that that would look bad, so they created many fake conspiracies to cover it up ?

Re: Mars Landing, May 25th

But how can someone beleive that it's impossible to get to the moon, when you look at the math and the technology it it very doable. How about this, in their desperate need to beat the USSR they sent the landers there but with no people in them. So taking photos will show the sights but no footprint...

Re: Mars Landing, May 25th

Landing on the moon is very possible, and "easy". There is no doubt in my mind that we went there, it would be crazy to believe otherwise. However, I find in intriguing why they don't photograph the site for both historical and novelty reasons. Due to this fact, I love discussing the issue...

Re: Mars Landing, May 25th

Isn't it in a very low decaying orbit, as in a short term orbit? As in there's never been a man made object in a short term decaying orbit over the moon so no images could be taken. There was a rather large number of moon orbiting satellites that where crashed in to the moon surface on purpose (dec...

Re: Mars Landing, May 25th

Explain why it's 'extremely easy' to take pictures of the landing sites, buzz lightyear This is due to the fact that unlike a planet, the moon has no atmosphere, therefore satellites orbit at a much lower altitude, no friction to slow it down, and absolutely no atmospheric distortion on the lenses,...
