ahh... I loved the ra3 soundtrack, tbh. Though I only kept it on for about a week. Footsteps just seemed more important.

it's completely awesome...but are the pings it's showing yours to the server, or IT'S to the server? and how can you join a server from there? just have to copy/paste the ip into the game?

interesting. i'm, using the lasted nvidia drivers (6800) .. but since i upgraded too em i'm having wierd problems with my fog in ffxi also...different problems, but still. didn't even occur to me it was a driver issue, just thought it was a game setup thing, lol.

speaking of nasty ass shit in single player...am i set up wrong, or is there a reason all explosions/smokes/etc look like 256 color mode? i mean, they still looked kinda good, but that bugged me throughout the whole game.

i believe m_strafesmooth is for when you use the mouse to strafe (or a joystick) via the strafe modifier button (ie. hold ctrl and the mouse then strafes instead of looks).

...i don't get it. seems exactly the same as q3 to me. only now instead of choosing the tiny skeleton, or the giant tankjr, you only get to pick visor/sarge. but the box didn't change in q3 depending on who you picked. you can shoot big open spaces around the skellie and still hit him, too.

And new maps ofcourse..'cos the stock tourney maps arent good. :shrug: pretty much my whole problem with it atm right there. i wanna play it, but i don't for very long, the maps just suck. some extra models and whatnot would be nice to have, but c'mon, maps are way to important to throw out shoddy ...

ra3map1, or especially the main bit: (ospra3map1) http://clan3v.dk/images/maps/ra3map1.jpg love that map. Oh yeah and Overkill and 6++. honestly. i mean, everyone got upset by the end of q3 that this map was soooo overplayed...and it was. but the fact is that it's just perfect for the ra game type....

it's actually much easier in q4 i'm finding. all you have to do is crouch while you turn and then immediatly jump again...you won't lose the speed from your strafe jumping. it's wierd at first though.

i get no names after like my 2nd game on every time. i thought the no head was a model, didn't even realise it was a bug too. you can see names when they type though, really annoying.

this only happens to me when i have seta demo_enforceFS "0" set to "1" .. i started messing with it to try to fix that one demo that gets the black test textures, but it had this side effect....oh, and it didn't fix that demo, lol.

dark grey textures to me...but playnettimedemo demo009 nets me 136fps...so i'd like to know how to mess with it on purpose, lol! i let it run for about 3 or 4 mins in fast forward before i hit esc and checked the console for the 136...tasty, lol

i think the movement is good to be slightly diff (it's mostly the same, except now strange ramp jumps...in multi...the movement in sp sucks), and i think 110 is a fair fov cap. but everything else sounds welcome to me. and in addition, please remove built in delay for weapons such as the rocketlaunc...
