I think his angle with this interview was to simply show people how just how illogical her point of view is. I thought of a lot of contradictions I would have pointed out, or even things I would have said in general. But I think he knew he wasn't changing her mind and was able to make her look like a total moron by letting her do all the work.

I think our parents and grandparents unleashed a monster by empowering us so much. Like I said in another thread, everyone feels entitled to be right simply because they say they are. The declining state of our educational system and overall literacy is making this even worse by giving people a totally incorrect definition of science, logic, and many other terms.

I listened to it while at work. It was worth it just hearing those points where you could tell he wanted to punch her right in the throat. Towards the end it got even worse because she started laughing at him randomly while he was explaining things to her.

Yeah, there were definitely a couple parts like that where he could have nailed her to the cross, so to speak, with better rebuttals. However, there were a few instances where you could actually see her face go sort of blank when she realized that his point was salient and rational and completely contradicted her views. Then she punted back to her scripted lines about mountains of evidence and how social darwinism is a horrible thing.
