Waterboy - If you decide to remake another Q3 CTf map, it would be great if you could try Q3ctf1 (although obviously a lot more omplicated than ctf4).

InstaUnlagged / X-Battle with IU added.

Nothing beats learning how to railjump with accuracy and learning how to kill rail jumpers with accuracy :)

I'm surprised that all the new instagib mods havn't incorperated an unlagged system and havn't added railjumps to the equasion :) (see IU for Q3 and X-Battle).

Being able to rail jump adds a huge new dimension to the game, and implores people to become more accurate with aim and speed.

The autoexec.cfg works fine, you just need to check that the commands are in autoexec.cfg with seta preceeding them.

put:

seta com_allowconsole "1"
seta g_fov "100"

works fine for me, just need to check the commands are there.

Just incase anyone didn't know:

I was playing around with ui_hitscantint and I worked out that 'Value' is actually 'Opacity'. Meaning the visibility of the rail trail. It's capped at 0.75 so people don't run around with invisible trails.

A good way to easily check what you have is to go to:

Start.../run.../type dxdiag (this is Direct X diagnostic) and look at the details that pop up. If you want graphic card specific info, then click display.

I get pretty much the same thing. Hardly any FPS change between 640 low and 1280 high. In my case, my cpu is holding back the full potential of my gfx card.
