I tried using an example from a converted map. but it had too many layers. the top layer was a trigger but I couldn't tell where it was linked to.

OK I need you guys to tell me everything you know about port

I'm going to make a portal to another point in the level. But it will be like a pit. People will fall in it and warp to another area of the map.
I need to know what are the different types of portals. I need to know how to link them via trigger objects and everything. Thanks.

fog effect question

Hello,
I was wondering if I could add a line to the fog shader i made to make it go up and down. Like kinda like how the ocean tides make the surface of the water go up and down. Like swaying I guess is the word for it. thanks. :)

I've been bunching all my textures into one shader file. I call it framesleep.shader. I've got some bounce pad textures (animated), and some other textures. Maybe I should make every type of shader a different shader file. Maybe thats what's happening?

I tried copy and pasting your example. And i change all the file names where they are supposed to.
plus I made a little reservoir for the fog. but this is the result. Is there something I might be doing wrong?

Radiant not generating AAS file but generates BSP just fine

Hello,
I'm trying to convert a map from a BSP to a .MAP and then back to a BSP after some modifications. :)

my question is how do i go about seeing which errors are preventing the BSP file from being made?

Gravity Question

Hello,
I figured out how to do gravity. But when i uploaded it (using STEAM, QUAKELIVE :) ) The next map that loads after that keeps the tweaked gravity. Is there a key or a value i could put so the gravity doesn't transfer over to the next map?

I made a map put some bots in it. The bots are spawning in one of the catacombs. They won't leap out of them. What shader/texture do i add to the map to coax them out of their hole. Included is a pic. Thanks won't

hello,
I am trying to put a railgun, not on the ground. But in the air, above a jump pad? but radiant keeps putting the weapon on the ground. How do I get the weapon to float in the air above a jump pad.
