LOL, sorry.
My disgust at myself for showing up after how ever many years and immediately making a worthless thread overcame my natural friendliness.
Hi! *waves* I hope the new year is treating everyone well.

Re: GtkRadiant 1.6.4 Released
Is it possible to remap the Radiant camera/movement keys? Not as far as I know. I'm sure you could do it with some sort of stand alone third-party key remapping program--I know there are a few out there, but I've never done that, so can't really recommend anything. Shit, my bad. I was using the q3m...

Re: GtkRadiant 1.6.4 Released
1) I've reinstalled Radiant for the first time in almost 5 years. I blame all of you. Especially Infernis. 2) I can't seem to get it to start on the monitor I want it to start on. Changing the "StartOnPrimMon" epair in local.pref doesn't seem to have any effect. Whether it's true or false,...

Re: EntityPlus - A single player Q3 mod
I didn't know this existed, and after reading the manual, this might actually get me back into Q3 mapping. Imagine that. This is really pretty cool. (Also, the "The manual for v1.1.4" link on the google.code homepage is broken (missing a dash), although the "download the manual" ...

Re: Problem (big) with compilling
Make a backup of your current map, so you can experiment without losing anything. In a copy of the map, delete the recent brushes you added. Does the problem go away? Then you know that the brushes you added caused the problem, and that there's something wrong there. If the problem doesn't go away w...

Just emphasizing yet again that this is awesome.

I've had a great deal of fun playing through the various iterations, and I hope you do something similar in the future!
I wouldn't have included a demo or YouTube link. But I'm a jerk like that...

Re: CTF Maps...Mirrored or Rotated?
CTF would be so much more interesting if non-symmetrical bases and a half-time switch were employed. pjw3dm6 The ctf layout in that map is great..especially considering the map is set up for every gametype. Why thank you. *tips hat* I always thought rotating 90 degrees would be interesting, but nev...

It was about 10 years ago that I started serious mapping with this map for Quake 2. Holy crap. It seems like forever and ever ago. Try moving it to a completely different folder and see what happens. My guess is that you have a pk3 in there with another shaderlist.txt (although I thought the loose file would take precedence...can't remember for sure though). If it still loads after you've moved it, you know there's custom conte...

Re: Portals vs. Hint brushes?
