Grenades explode on impact?

I am currently creating a mod for Quake III. I am making a weapon that will fire grenades, but the grenades will explode on contact with the world. Anyone know how to code this? Thanks in advance. :q3:

Ok I fixed it. It was something with the shader. This is what I had: stingerExplosion { cull disable { animmap 5 models/weaphits/stboom/stboom_1.tga models/weaphits/stboom/stboom_2.tga models/weaphits/stboom/stboom_3.tga models/weaphits/stboom/stboom_4.tga models/weaphits/stboom/stboom_5.tga rgbGen ...

Well lowering the frequency didn't help. I noticed if I replace the default rlboom textures with mine, its smooth as the others.

I already tried adding 8 frames, the last 3 just being black. It didn't work. I'll try lowering the frequency.

Quake 3 Explosion Shader is Choppy

Hey, I've been working on a new explosion shader for a new weapon in my mod, but the explosion is choppy, not smooth like the RL and GL explosions. Any ideas?

This has nothing to do with the shader script. It puzzles me because I couldn't find an explosion shader for the RL or the GL. But, yes, I can't get the explosion to work with Q3. I haven't created an explosion shader since I could not find an explosion shader for the other weapons.

Hi d00ds, I am currently working on adding some new weapons to Quake 3. I want to assign a new weapon, based on the RL, a different explosion shader, but I can't figure out how to get the shader to work. (I'm a bit new with Q3 programming :) ) Thanks in advance :D

Urban Terror "hunk alloc failed"

Hey again, I just downloaded UT4, but whenever i try to connect to a server, an error message says "Hunk_Alloc failed on 33554432". I tried setting my hunkmegs higher, but it didn't help. Any ideas?

No, I got the convert bsp to ase thing, I just cant open the ase file (exept with radiant).
