Re: 20 Years

Whiskey 7, honestly I'd say we all came out pretty ok. Homes, families, fancy pool projects, photography and other hobbies etc.. You'd think a group of nerds would end up with a few nut jobs or something. But after 20 years I think my biggest takeaway is how normal and well adjusted this group actua...

Re: Badass or moron?

I may be wrong but does this video seem slightly sped up to anyone else? That or his bike has really touchy steering. The way it leans during the lower speed parts seems unnatural to me.
Still impressive. Still stupid.

I used to be active on T&T. Now I just lurk and occasionally sling shit into pools.

I must say, the photo thread greatly contributed to my picking up photography :)

I've got an old HTC G2 running Opera Mobile and don't have any problems viewing the site as-is. But then I keep my browser set to desktop because I can't stand most of the mobile versions of websites.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Tasker yet (http://tasker.dinglisch.net/tour.html) Although it doesn't require root it lets you customize and script damn near anything you could imagine. I use it to change various settings and run tasks based on my location. i.e. Password protect my phone when I'm ...

Re: Removing objects from video in real-time

I would like to see this implemented into video editors. Nothing sucks more then taking some nice nature footage only to realize later that some asshole left some trash in the area. Being able to easily edit that out would be handy.

Re: Motorbike Experts?

For 50$ you could part it out and still end up ahead. So might as well buy it. Something to consider is the age. If it's been sitting for ages, the gas tank and carbs are going to be full of goop. Before you even attempt to start it you should disassemble the carbs and clean em out and be sure the t...

Re: Replaying Quake 1...

I played through all episodes of DOOM1 & 2 not long ago and loved every bit of it. I had a mod for higher resolution and mouse supprot but otherwise original. There are still very few games that play like it.

I love my powershot. I'd post pics but I'm in the process of moving and my main PC is boxed up. I've got an SD1200is. Takes like 200+ shots per charge, 10MP, 3X obptical, very small and the quality is great for typical use. Be sure to actualy read he manual because it has some less-user friendly opt...

That's exactly what always turned me off from these games. I bought every one of them, and finished none. Each one was fantastic until there was some tomb-raider style bullshit thrown in. I want to sneak around stealing shit. Toss in the occasional sword fight beause I fucked up. That's it, no zombi...
