forgive me for such a noobie question, but for the life of me i cant figure out how to import textures into the quake4 editor. i read somewhere that i just need to make a textures folder in the q4base folder, but that dint work. i cant seem to find any relevant information through search either so a...

ok this is wut ive got goin so far: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/4733/layout7qp.th.jpg so i made everything with brushes, all the border brushes r the walls, the larger brushes make up the floor layout. this is the only way i can think of to make this shape using the fewest number of brushes.....

ive actually been using another map for practice. imo i like it better than the apa one, it makes me focus more on my timing and mouse flick cuz it has more narrow platforms. found it at q4euro, direct link is here

so...i went back and installed q3 with cpma. i can tell it helps alot with air control as some of u have said b/c it allows you to actually turn ur body in mid-air. the movement seems less cumbersome and more fluid with cpma. the problem im having now is i make myself turn by letting go of the +forw...
